EIT is a chatbot that is part of the community of the Second Year Studio: Trajectories course in the Design program at the Universidad de los Andes, taught alongside Professor Nicolás Quintero. Its knowledge base is built on the products created by students taking the course. Its expertise is limited to the topics developed around sustainability and circularity in different sectors studied throughout the course. This includes desktop research, fieldwork, and solution project proposals.
To obtain sufficient data to train EIT, the students consulted various bibliographic sources, conducted interviews, conducted fieldwork, and conducted user testing throughout the design of their strategy projects. This allowed them to train and refine EIT with cross-referenced information, opinions, findings, and inferences, and they reached conclusions that led to valuable learning.
As deliverables, the students, together with EIT, produced three types of articles: I) Sociocultural Fit, which explains the value proposition of the projects and the benefits and pain relief for users. II) Technical Feasibility, which outlines the deployment and technological requirements for delivering the value proposition to users. III) Financial Viability, which is tied to the business model and the deployment of resources necessary for project implementation.
In addition to being able to interact with EIT, you'll be able to read articles generated by EIT based on the knowledge produced by course students. You'll also be able to listen to nine AI-created podcast episodes that discuss projects proposed by course students.
